Jake 3 months

Jake turned 3 months on 4/18... the first week for daycare so things were a little hectic that week. We are starting to get into a good routine and I am loving having Monday and Friday at home with the boys. We usually stay at home and have lazy days. We will go on walks down the street to the little park area in our neighborhood, play outside (Jake hangs out in his swing), and have a lot of snuggle time. Jake has the sweetest and cutest smile. He will sometimes give you a sligh 1/2 smile too. Jake got over his ear infection and then a new cold started last Friday. He has a runny nose and a little cough. It is so sad to see him sick when he is so young. He loves to suck his thumb. He has gotten better at getting it to his mouth and you will hear this loud sucking noise. He is so funny when in his bouncy seat... he wants to sit up so he will pull his head up like he is doing a sit up. He has started to coo more and sometimes it sounds like he is saying "mama." He weighed 15lbs 4oz when we went for his ear recheck last Friday. He is wearing 3-6 month clothes and some 0-3 months pants. Luke is now calling him "Gakes." If someone comes over or when we go to daycare he will point at Jake and he will say "Gakes." It is the cutest and sweetest thing. He is showing everyone that this is his brother "Gakes." Oh how much we love our little man... our little "j" man.
