Wow- how the time flies. Luke will be 7 months next week. He has been working on sitting up by himself this month and almost has it mastered. I know once he has it down he will be so happy. He really likes sitting up a lot more than just lying on his back. We try putting him down on his stomach to see if he wants to work on crawling and he will just roll on over. In his own timing we tell ourselves.
I wanted to share a few cute pictures from school this week. They had a Spirit week because the school has been open 4 years. Monday was PJ day, Tuesday was hat day, Wednesday was favorite sport team day (we had to go neutral on this one), Thursday was crazy socks day, and Friday was Akers Spirit day (wear your Akers t-shirt). Akers sent us a few pictures of Luke with his best bud Collin. Collin and Luke have been hanging out since they were only a few weeks old. Collin is 2 weeks older than Luke and his mom/dad are in our bible study group. Julie (his mom) and I spent a lot of time together on our maternity leave. How much fun that they are in school together. You can see how excited they are in the pictures.
