Baby Brother's Furniture

Last weekend we took advantage of the tax free sale at the The Babys Room Norcross. Baby furniture is not included in the state program but they were trying to get people into the store and so they were paying the tax. I guess it worked because we went and bought baby brother's furniture. We had looked one weekend before and had some ideas of what we liked. We wanted something a little different than what Luke has but we knew we wanted the convertible style so it would grow with him. We decided on a brand called Bonavita. It is a hard wood which is supposed to be a sturdier wood and not chip as easily, etc. In the pictures on the website the color looks black... it is called licorice and it has brown strokes in it. It will take around 6-8 weeks for delivery. We told them to take their time. They laughed and said that is usually what they here with 2nd time parents. With Luke we had his room all cleared out, etc. way before the furniture arrived. The room for baby brother is still one of our guest rooms. We have to take down the bed, move a dresser/nightstand, etc. this time. We are hoping to have the room painted, carpet cleaned, and all those fun things before the furniture arrives. Thank goodness my dad is a huge help in the painting department... he is the reason we have almost all the other rooms painted :)
