Labor Day weekend we took a trip to Rosemary Beach. We stayed Sat-Wed. We went with 2 other couples from church.. 1 couple has a little boy 2 weeks older than Luke, and the other couple has a little girl that will be 2 years old next month and a 3 1/2 month old little girl. We had a blast. I really can't put into words how much fun it was. It was one of those trips that you look back and you just think how great it truly was. The kids had a blast! It was so great to see how much Luke loved the sand. When I say "loved" that is an understatement. He would be covered head to toe. We had a small plastic pool and he would get in there and get wet and then roll around in the sand. He also loved the ocean. He wanted to go swim on his own but the problem is he does not know how to swim :) Before we left we talked about how we might not spend a lot of time at the beach because of the kiddos but we ended up spending the majority of our time at the beach. We would go out around 9:30 and then come in for lunch and naps and then go back to the beach once everyone woke up. We would mainly use the pool for quick swims before going into the house.
Our friends that live in Norway were in town at their beach house and so they were able to come over and hang out for a few hours. It is very special to see our boys together because they were born on the same day.
