Catch up

So 3 weeks have passed since my last post.... every day would come and go and I would say that I was going to write a post and update pictures... Well those days turned into weeks and here we are at 3 weeks. I only have one more week of maternity leave as well. How can 12 weeks pass so quickly once the baby arrives and take an eternity when you are pregnant. We are enjoying each and every moment with our 2 boys and cherishing every minute. Over the past 3 weeks we have taken a 10+ hr road trip to visit our friend JuJu at her new home in Hillsboro Beach for my mom's spring break. We took the boys for their 2 month and 2 year check ups and then went to Monkey Joes for a playdate. We got Luke his 2nd haircut. We had several mommy and me playdates with church friends and neighborhood friends. We ventured out in our new double stroller for a walk around the mall and a few walks in the neighborhood- pushing that thing has to burn some calories!!

Jake 2 month checkup
weight 15lbs 4 oz 90+ percentile
height 22.75 inches 40th percentile

Luke 2 year checkup
weight 31lbs 87th percentile (actually lost a few lbs)
height 35 inches 90+ percentile

Jake milestones.... at 9 weeks slept in his crib for a nap and took several naps in the pack n play
more smiles and big grins- especially first thing in the morning
sleeping 5+ hours at night at a time
has extended his feeding time to around 2 1/2-3 hours during the day
still loves being held and walked/bounced to sleep
our little snuggle bug
still sleeping a lot but forming more of a schedule...

Luke milestones.....
saying more words and imitating what we do
waking some at night... night terrors?
tried peanut butter and jelly- uncrustables.. mainly eats the jelly
loves playing outside
loves cleaning.... always wants a "towel" as he calls it so he can wipe around the doors, walls, etc.
is able to name colors and numbers but not able to match them correctly
knows the disney characters- mickey, donald, goofy, pluto, and daisy... still working on minnie
likes to watch Dora, Manny, and Mickey Clubhouse... we try to limit it only to right after lunch before nap time and when he does his breathing treatment before bedtime
