Jake's 1st beach trip

We went to Seacrest beach over Labor Day weekend with the Reese's and Valencia's. We went last year and had so much fun so we decided to go again this year. We had 5 kids under age 3 in our house called "Chocolate Sundae." The weather was great and we had so much fun.. we stayed from Sat-Wed but decided if we go again next year that we would like to stay the whole week. It was Jake's 1st family beach trip. When he was only a few months old he went with my mom, Luke, and myself to Ft. Lauderdale but this was his first time to truly experience the sand. It was HOT so after about 2 hours he was ready to go back inside. He enjoyed the little pool and playing with Olivia. Luke started running a fever the night we got there and seemed to feel miserable. He was achy and this was the first time he was actually able to tell us that something hurt.."my head hurts", "my back hurts"... He wanted to be playing with his friends but would just crawl up in my lap to be held. By Tuesday he was feeling better so we were able to enjoy the last day together. We had a great time with great friends and look forward to our trip next year!!
