I planned to write this post when Jake was 13 months but now he has turned 14 months. We have so much going on right now that the blog has unfortunately taken the back seat. Our little Jakey Poo is changing every day.. He is so loving and gives the very best hugs. He will lie on your shoulder and curl his arms up under himself and just snuggle up. He is trying to talk more.. even if we cant always understand what he is saying he is really trying to tell us something. Of course he wants to be doing everything Luke is doing. This boy loves any kind of ball. He can really throw the ball too. Your feet are so ticklish.. especially right after taking off your shoes/socks.
Some of the things you are saying-
1. Outside
2. Ball
3. Bella
4. Bar- Cereal Bar
5. Book
6. Night Night.. sounds more like ya ya
7. Love you... Yuv Yu
8. Tickle Tickle.. and he will do the hand motion
9. You will point to your nose and then want to go through eyes, nose, mouth, hair... it really makes you laugh
10. Sock/Shoe
11. Whats that- pointing to things
12. Momma
13. Dadda
14. Duck- and quack quack.. sounds more like cak cak
15. uh oh
He can sign "eat" "please" "more" and will wave his hands in the air for "all done"- I guess we must have been doing this to ask him if he was all done eating.
You are walking around everywhere.. even trying to run. You are still pretty clumsy but you just get back up and keep going.
You got your first bloody nose the other day. I could not believe that you are 14 months and had a bloody nose. You tripped over Luke and then fell down. The fall did not seem that hard but it must have hit just right.
You are very tough and a big climber.. trying to get into everything. So I know that the bloody nose you had earlier in the week is not going to be the one and only.
He is doing his best to keep up with his brother.. whatever Luke wants or has Jake wants.
He is a really good eater.. he will try all sorts of new things. He will only eat baby food on days/nights when we need something quick
He also has blankets that he carries around and sleeps with. He has a giraffe, monkey, and deer. Guess we will have to see what he calls his. He will bring Luke's blankets to him and will also try to take them away
You love bath time.. pouring water over your head and trying to drink it too (Yuck)
You are now in your big boy car seat but still rear facing. You seem to like it better because you can see outside
If you are hungry you will go over to your high chair and try to get into it. You love breakfast.. the minute you get up you want to drink your milk and shortly after eat your cereal bars- usuallly 2 bars!
You go to bed around 8pm and wake up around 6:30 - usually just talking in your bed until around 7am.
