Lake week 2011

We have tried to make it a tradition of going to the lake for a long weekend or a week over the past few years. This year we were able to go wed -sun and that Sunday was Father's Day! We had so much fun. Luke said he had the best time. He played and played. My parents had sand brought in and they made the boat ramp into a sandy beach. There is very little cell phone service at the lake house and I have tmobile so there is zero service. They also don't have Internet so it is hard at first but quickly you realize how relaxing life is without those interruptions. We would just go on boat rides, play in the sprinklers, and let the boys play and play. Jake was afraid of my brother's dog Dixie and my old lab Sadie but he loved to call them over and wanted to see them. If they came up to him he would want you to pick him up. We had great weather and good food! Overall it was one of the more relaxing vacations I have had in a while. I am hoping to take the boys back to the lake for a long weekend before summer is over.
