We had been planning a trip to Auburn with my family for several months and we chose the Auburn vs Ole Miss game. Each year that game falls around the same time as my sister's birthday. My mom and dad and Lea and Stephen were able to meet us there. We rented an apartment and stayed there with my mom and dad. Jody's best friend growing up and his wife and 2 daughters were also able to come for the weekend and it was so specal to hang out with them. Wish we were able to get together more often. We went down after lunch on Friday and were able to get there in time to mark off our tailgate spot and then go to dinner. Auburn is such a special place and everyone is always so nice. It is a big change from the busyness of Atlanta. Even though Jody is an Alabama fan he was a trooper and we all enjoyed the weekend together. There is a kids zone so before the game we went over to the slides and give away tents and the boys loved that. We decided not to go to the game because it was a night game and going to get cold once the sun went down. Also having to pay for everyone that enters is a little crazy.. Jake might watch some of the game but Luke would probably play on my phone or want to walk up and down the stairs. Jake is really into football and when it comes on tv he is so funny and says "football" "get that ball" He actually watches it for a few minutes too. Here are a few pictures from our fun weekend!
