Jake's new potty

With Luke I was totally not into the little potty chairs. I did not want to have to clean it out each time so we trained him using the little seat that goes on top of the toilet seat. Jake has been interested in going to the potty and wearing underwear earlier than Luke and he is also a lot smaller. Sitting on the big potty is pretty scary for him so we decided to get him a potty. He has been wanting to read a potty book lately where the little sister gets a pink potty. We got him the Baby Bjorn Red potty chair. It was recommended for boys and he was excited about it when it arrived in the mail. Luke has been the only one to use it so far. He says that he is showing Jake how to use it. Jake likes to sit on it but quickly says "all done".. put my diaper back on. The other night he said he wanted to go poopy on the potty so he was sitting on it trying to go and he jumps up to see if it was in the potty... as he turns around to look I see that his poop was still stuck to his bottom and drops on the floor about that same time. All we could do was laugh and cheer and the poor thing got so freaked out he kept saying "Put my diaper back on.. Put my diaper back on"... so we will keep working with him on this but I think he is still a little young and does not totally get the concept of making the pee and poop come out when on the potty.
