Slowly but surely I am learning how to do new things on here. The slideshow took me a long time to figure out but now I think it will be much easier to post pictures that way.
We had a really great time at the beach. Luke really liked the swimming pool and the sand. He was not so sure about the ocean. The crashing of the waves seemed to scare him a little. It was a lot of fun to spend time with my family too. After a week off from work it was hard once again to go back. Once I got back into the routine it made it easier.
Luke turned 4 months old last week. So crazy how fast time goes by. He continues to grow, grow, grow. We are already looking at buying the convertible car seat. The infant car seat goes up to 22lbs and we are just about there. At his appt on Tuesday he weighed 20lbs 4oz and is 28 inches long. The dr. made the comment that some 1 year olds are smaller. :) He was very happy to see Luke growing so well and he is in the 99 percentile in both height and weight. He mentioned that once he is able to move around he will drop a lot of the extra weight too. His little rolls are so cute!
Luke has really found his voice. He makes a high pitch squeal. He also does not like to be left alone in the room. He will squeal if he realizes you have walked out of the room. He is growing and learning new things everyday. He can hold up his head, lift his head while on his tummy, use his hands to hold and reach for objects, kick his legs and feet, and coo and giggle. He has the best laugh. Jody and I thank the Good Lord every day for Luke and how blessed we are to have him in our lives.
