I took the boys to the lake for one last long weekend before my mom returns to school. We packed up and headed out on Saturday after our tennis semi finals match. We got to the lake around 2 and a thunderstorm was just blowing up. Luke also said that he was not feeling well. It had been music week at school that week and they had a person come in with whistles and musical instruments and so a "bug" was passed around. Luckily it ended up only being a 24 hr fever virus and with motrin in his system he was ready to go! We had so much fun relaxing and hanging out with my mom and dad. Uncle Wade came down for a day so we enjoyed seeing him as well. Luke LOVES to fish and so that is what he did a good portion of the time.... Cast and reel in...cast and reel....over and over again! Jake is not a big fan of the sand so he really did not want to get in the water and play(should be interesting when we go to the beach next month). It is so nice not to have access to Internet and cell phones....disconnect and enjoy life! We stayed until Tuesday and each afternoon there was a thunderstorm. Each time afterwards we would tell Luke it is time to go in and he would say "rain coming"??? It is so sweet to see their minds working and putting things together. Can't believe the summer is over.... It does not change much with with our schedules except for MORE Atlanta traffic- if you can even imagine it being any worse than it is already :)
