Max and Luke (hard to believe they are a year apart)
Cousins minus Addie
Thanksgiving was a hectic holiday but it was so special to see all of our families. We decided to wait out the Atlanta traffic and so we left on Thursday morning for Birmingham. We had lunch with my parents, sister and brother, grandparents, and aunt/uncle/cousin. My mom, sister, and I have a tradition of going shopping on Black Friday. We look through the ads and plan out our shopping trip. We dont go near placesl like Wal Mart, Target, etc. but we go to the mall. We set out this year around 6am and returned by lunch. We found some good deals but mainly just had fun spending time together. After shopping we returned home to watch the Iron Bowl. This has to be the hardest day of the year in a house divided. Jody got to watch with my family... all Auburn fans so it was not that much fun for him. We atleast made them sweat a little!!
After the game we left for Opp. We stayed in Opp until Sunday after church. We had a lot of fun with everyone being together. It was a big change for Luke from being the only grandchild at my parents to the 7th grandchild in Opp. We had some really nice weather and were able to spend some time outside. Luke loves outside so he had a lot of fun on the golf cart, the 4 wheeler and just running in the yard. Bella and Mo traveled with us and were a little stressed from all the entertainment. The drive home was long and we said maybe next year we can come home on Monday to not have to deal with all the traffic. (All the pictures are from Opp.. for some reason we never took any pictures in Bham)
Overall we had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are so blessed to have such wonderful families and friends. We are thankful for all of you and love you very much!
